GP60/EE60 Midterm instructions and exam

The midterm exam is currently scheduled for late October/early November. It will be a take-out (or in class, if you prefer) exam, worth about one third of the grade.

The test will be open book and open notes. I recommend that you use a calculator where necessary to evaluate results, but you may leave results in algebraic expression form if you do not have a calculator.

Most of the questions will be short answer format. In all cases give enough of an answer to make your reasoning understandable.
